Milwaukee Archery Club SCLC Funding Presentation for Fiscal Year 2018-2019

What is your Sport Club?   Milwaukee Archery Club is a rapidly growing club at UWM. MAC competes against schools across the Midwest, as well as travels nationally for elite competitions. We currently have 13 members, and are looking to expand that number next year. This past year, 4 of our members qualified to compete in our the USCAA National Championship, and the club is ranked in the top 30 in the nation overall.

Statement of Purpose The Milwaukee Archery Club is committed to providing UWM students with the opportunity to learn and practice the sport of archery in a safe and welcoming environment, as well as promote the sport of archery on the UWM campus. 

1. League, conference, and organizational dues United States Collegiate Archery Association Team League Dues $1000/team – See page 1, Figure 1

2. Required Governing Body Competitions League Competition #1 – Madison, WI: October 13-14, 2018 Entry Fee: $100 – See page 1, Figure 2 Officials: $200 – See page 1, Figure 3 Hotels: 15 members, 4 rooms, 1 night, $94/night – See page 2, Figure 4 Rental Vans: 2 days, 2 vans, 1 car Total: $960

3. Open/Invitational Competitions Mid-South Invitational – Williamsburg, KY: April 19-21, 2019 Entry Fee: $85/member – See Page 2, Figure 5 Hotels: 12 members, 3 rooms, 4 nights, $64/night – See Page 2, Figure 6 Rental Vans: 2 vans, 5 days Total: $2,408

4. Practices West Town Archery, Brookfield, WI $84/practice – Refer to Page 2, Figure 7 1 practice per week, 26 Practices per year Total amount: $2,184

5. Supplies, Equipment, and Miscellaneous Essentials Last year, UREC purchased us 5 bows, which need to be restrung. Cost per bow: $27.99 – See Page 3 Total: $139.95
