Graphing on a Coordinate plane
Vocabulary Coordinate system- a system which uses one or more numbers or coordinates, to uniquely determine the position of a point Coordinate plane- Two number lines perpendicular to one another and intersecting at the zero point of both lines. First quadrant- upper right corner of a coordinate plane Points- used to mark an ordered pair on a coordinate plane Origin- center of the graph (0,0) X-axis- axis that runs horizontally (side to side) Y-axis- axis that runs vertically (up and down)
Plot the following ordered Pairs: (0,2) (2,3) (4, 1) (1, 5) (3, 4)
