Math Reminders Calendar 2019 Language Arts Children should know their letters and sounds. Please work on sounding out CVC words. like cat, pig, and hat. Consonant, Vowel, Consonant. Please encourage children to label pictures with the sounds they hear. For Writing, we are beginning How To Unit. Please have your child practice writing instructions in a sequence with First, Next, Then, and Last. Calendar 2/13 Mix it up lunch Card Sale 2/14 12:35 Dismissal Class party 2/15 Jump Rope for heart 2/18+2/19 Break 2/25 Read Across America Week. Birthdays Noah 2/6 Math We are beginning to work with numbers 11-19, counting by tens, weight, and shapes. Please practice counting and writing numbers Kindergarteners need to add and subtract to five fluently by June. Please start practicing.
