Eligibility Sophomore status. 2.5-3.0 minimum GPA GPA requirements differ by program.

Language English speaking opportunities exist in: Language is no longer a barrier to studying abroad. Many universities around the world offer courses in English, as well as the local language English speaking opportunities exist in: England, Japan, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Italy, Ireland, Austria, Norway, Sweden, & Spain Most programs have no foreign language pre-requisites

Classes Most students take regular university courses in English Credits can be applied toward major, minor, general education or elective requirements. Courses are approved prior to study abroad

Planning Ahead One year in advance recommended Application deadlines are generally in October & March. Determine when study abroad fits into your academic schedule.

Housing Most students live on-campus in university housing Foreign language students usually live with host families
