Rotary Club of Eden Prairie AM │ 2015 – 2020 Visioning Plan 2016-2017 Action Plan By June 2017… 2020 Goals will impact: Achieve membership goal of 80 members to stay on target to reach 100 members by 2020 Champions: John E. and Membership Committee Develop a plan to clarify and simplify our public messages & Celebrate TRF’s 100th Anniversary Champions: Adam and PR Committee Partner with the EP collaborative to address the needs of homeless teens. Champions: Jan and Carol Establish a leadership academy to recruit 10 future leaders Champions: Irene, Matt, and Roger All members will work with at least one committee or project. Champions: Craig and Jane Sponsor at least 1 international project in partnership with other clubs or community groups. Champions: Glenn and World Service Committee TRF/EREY Every Rotarian contributes to the Rotary Foundation. Annual Goal - $31,000 Champion: Dan and TRF Committee Successfully complete the Presidential Citation Requirements by March 31, 2017 Champions: Board of Directors Vocational Service Develop a leadership academy for rising leaders within our club Expand the leadership academy to include training for community members and organizations Membership Our Club will have 100 members due in part by increasing our visibility in the community Marketing More effectively market the club through the website, social media and other channels Revamp these channels to appeal to a younger/wider audience Club Culture Involve every member in a committee Increase diversity of membership that reflects our community Holding quarterly social events Eden Prairie Community Working in partnership with other organizations, ensure that all homeless teens have safe housing in Eden Prairie

Presidential Citation/Other Club Goals Mandatory: Set 10+ goals on Rotary Club Central Pay semi-annual RI dues on time in July & Jan. Membership: (2) Gain at least 2 new members Improve retention by 1% or more Induct 4 new members under age 40 Foundation Giving: (3) Give at least $2650 for Polio Plus Give Annual Fund at least $100/pp Attain a 5-yr. high in total club giving Humanitarian Service (3) Partner with the Fdtn. by sponsoring at least one project funded by a global grant or a district grant. Have at least one club member attend a grant management seminar. Establish a partnership and conduct a project with one or more corporations, government entities, or nongovernmental organizations. New Generations (3) Currently sponsor or cosponsor an Interact club. Sponsor or host at least one Rotary Youth Exchange student. Have at least one club member mentor a Rotaractor or Interactor. Involve Rotaractors or Interactors in club projects. Public Image (1) Host an event to inform the community about Rotary and its Foundation’s Centennial. Get local media to cover an outstanding club project. Involve local media with at least one club event, project, or fundraiser. Online Tools: (2) Have at least 2 members participate in online discussion groups in My Rotary Post at least one initiative in Rotary Showcase.
