Why did Europeans colonize Africa? They wanted the resources to run factories that were Springing up all across Europe. The Europeans colonized Africa for resources Also as a place to build empires It would be easy to take land from Africa

How did nationalism begin to grow in Africa? Africa began to become independent little by little They started taking British flags They elected a African leader They used violence when fighting

How did Africa nations become independent? African nations turned against colonies Britain can no longer fund colonial empires Some powers gave up colonies Africans fought for freedom

How did nationalism lead into independence for the African nations?
