Anemia: Iron Deficiency Some causes for anemia: Loss of blood, Lack of iron in diet, Inability to absorb iron, Pregnancy Symptoms: Inflammation/soreness of tongue, brittle nails, unnatural cravings, poor appetite Who is at high risk: Pregnant women, menstruating females Prevention: Eat foods rich in iron and drink citrus juices

Colon and Rectal Caner Causes: Smoking and drinking, not eating enough fiber, polyps (excess cell growth in the colon or rectum) Symptoms: Changing in bowel habits, weakness/fatigue, weight loss, rectal bleeding, cramps, gas, painful bowel movements Who is at high risk: Sedentary lifestyle, diabetes, smokers, drinkers, obesity, old age, exposed to radiation Prevention: Get screened for colon cancer and eat healthy
