3 Overweight Vs. Obese Overweight is the term used to describe a person who is heavy for his/her height Obesity is a condition in which there is an excess of body fat for one’s weight. A person is considered obese if he/she weighs more than 20% above his/her recommended body weight range.

4 Body Mass Index (BMI) BMI is an index of weight in relation to height that is used to assess healthy body weight. Calculating your BMI = weight (lbs) \ Height (in.) \ Height (in.)
