Typography Graphic designers use typography to make text readable, attractive and appropriate in the context of the rest of the design that they’re creating and they use several different techniques to achieve those goals.

Typography The design of a set of characters. How large or small type is. Kerning and Tracking

Typography

Typography Kerning – the space between letters. Tracking – the spacing between all the characters in a selection of text. Auto (Metrics) Kerning – Controlled automatically by settings within a font file. Manual Kerning – Place cursor between two characters and change the kerning value. Optical Kerning – Photoshop determines the space between letters based on their shapes.
