Take a popular bit of advice, a saying, or a slogan, and use what you’ve learned about typography to make it look cool, interesting, and well-designed. Emphasize the most important letters and words. Use colors creatively, sparingly, and for emphasis. Use your fonts creatively and appropriately. Additional images should be fairly simple—remember that the text is the most important part of the composition. The background might possibly be just textures or a simple logo. This composition is “minimalist.”
