Miniature Train Project Linkage Arm and Peg

From the y-axis draw a rectangle 1.750” x .25” From the midpoint of the end of the rectangle draw two circles. .128” .375”

Extrude that shape .125”. May have a little piece that doesn’t cooperate but you can get rid of that later.

Remove the extra piece by drawing another Remove the extra piece by drawing another .128 circle and doing an extrude cut to remove the extra material.

Mirror Plane Use the 3D mirror tool to make the other half of the linkage arm.

You may have to remove the extra material on the other side as well You may have to remove the extra material on the other side as well. For some reason the mirror picks up the cut material.

Draw a rectangle .031” x .25”

Draw a .125” line on the y-axis then a a three point arc from the end of the line to the x-axis approximately as shown in picture with radius of .1562”

Then draw a line from the end of the arc back to the y-axis.
