Original sin =. Adam and Eve defying God. and eating from the tree of Original sin = Adam and Eve defying God and eating from the tree of knowledge of good and evil.

Salvation = Being saved from sin and the consequences of it. Being granted eternal life with God. How might this be achieved by Christians? Through good works / obeying God’s law Grace – given by God; a gift for the faithful

Jesus as Redeemer – Jesus is punished for the sins of all humans By receiving the punishment on their behalf, he ‘buys back’ the relationship between God and humans Only Jesus can do this because he is God and man Jesus’ death is an act of love and by rising from the dead he brings new hope to the world
