PO Box 63183, Colorado Springs, CO 80962 Home Owners Association of Falcon Estates General Membership Meeting, 18 July 2018 Reviewed financial statements as of June 30th, 2018 Questions about garage sale dates and coordinating both sides of Academy. There was concern that the announcements were not equally sufficient for both sides of Academy. Jim Torley explained how we coordinated dates with Columbine Estates and both sides were included. It was noted we will look to improve notification. Garrett reviewed  Nextdoor.com and the creation of a Falcon Estates East boundaries. Seeking inputs from homeowners to be reviewed at the January 2019 general meeting.  Reviewed high hurdle to get the covenants changed. Discussed the expense involved in hiring an attorney to draft and review the changes. Skunk and Raccoon removal Has to be done an individual basis because pest control companies wouldn’t contract with an HOA. Patching is expected to be completed in two weeks. Discussed communication of events and meetings to the HOA members. Greg told them how we will be reviewing our communications strategy. PO Box 63183, Colorado Springs, CO 80962 Home Owners Association of Falcon Estates General Membership Meeting, 18 July 2018 New business Don Slater - concern that a homeowner is running a business on Whitley Drive Nick Shrader - 1014 Fuller - called code enforcement and they shut a business down Larry Bagley discussed now is the time to contact the city about paving the cross streets from 2C funds. He also mentioned at least getting the stop bars by the stop signs. Larry recommended flooding city council members and departments with emails.  Larry also concerned about the newly re-paved roads leading to more speeding because they are smooth and quiet. PO Box 63183, Colorado Springs, CO 80962 Home Owners Association of Falcon Estates General Membership Meeting, 18 July 2018 Larry recommended using Blue Star recycling for electronics when we have the dumpsters. Greg said the board could look at adding that John Comes - Venhorst Drive - recommended moving the slow down signs on the West side of Falcon Estates Concern regarding trees overhanging the streets that need to be trimmed. Larry and Greg recommended contacting the city via their app. Gocosprings app is a good way to contact the city. Requesting sending an email list to the HOA members on who to contact in the city for issues. Discussed requiring DDR Development to complete the wall behind Whole Foods and Pep Boys before the HOA would support any new development John Comes - motion to adjourn Seconded - Jon Paukovich  Meeting adjourned at 8:30 pm 5/4/2019 PO Box 63183, Colorado Springs, CO 80962
