Hira Filter & Emco SwitchGears Suraksha Meet at Hira Filter & Emco SwitchGears On 16th & 17th August -2013

Highlights The meet was held at Hira Filter, Baddi & Emco SwitchGears, Chandigarh on 16th & 17th august respectively. 30 workers & employee from Hira Filter and 45 workers & employees from Emco Switchgear attended the safety program. A safety observation of the factory was taken well before the program. Safety gaps were identified and captured in pictures during the round. The Suraksha session was carried out by Mr. Anuj Barwal & Mr. Manoj Sharma. The delivery of the topic was in Hindi to make the program easily understandable by the workers. A quiz on safety practices was held after the program to assess the understanding of participants. It was a highly interactive session and very well received by the participants at both the locations.

Highlights Major topics covered:- Importance of Safety in our daily life. Safety at work place ( Factory & office). Unsafe Act – Unsafe condition. Health safety. Various pictures relevant to the above topics were shown to the participants for better understanding. In the end, safety gaps and good practices captured during safety observation at customer’s shop floor were also shared with the audience. Gifts were distributed to the workers who actively participated in the program to motivate & encourage them . Refreshments were distributed to all the workers and employees.
