1st line manager ensure pt’s expectations of care are met. nurses are the largest group of health care professionals and have more contact with pts than do other employees, pts often judge the quality of care by the quality of their services. 1st line manager ensure pt’s expectations of care are met. accomplished by surveys, focus groups . Our hospitals is managed by industrial models of management that create tremendous job dissatisfaction and staff turnover. Professional nurses must be given accountability and authority for pt care.
