What supplies are needed? DVMS ID card Daily required supplies Spiral notebook for math & science 8 ½” x 11” Loose leaf college-ruled, lined paper Pencil/pen/expo marker(red pen for correcting) 3 ring binder Dividers Science textbook (every day!) Reading/AR book DVMS issued planner

Expectations

How will students be evaluated? Grading Categories Assessments 50% Classwork/Interactive Notebook 25% Homework 15% Responsibility & Participation 10%

When can we see our grades? Grades will be updated on Aeries every two weeks. Students may request a grade report at any time before or after school. I post overall grades in the classroom every two weeks.

Will we have homework? For math: Homework will mainly consist of exercises out of the math textbook or workbooks. For science: Homework will consist of finishing up worksheets, projects, reading, or any other assignment from class. Implementing Triad Homework

What about absent work or late work? Late work will be accepted up until the Friday before the end of the Triad for no higher than 70% Absent work: It will be their responsibility to find out what they missed.

Planners: Agenda is written in planner and needs to be checked daily! Assignments will be posted on the website daily. Please check Aeries weekly. It is a great way to keep up on student’s grades and check for missing work.
