Organisms Organisms are living things. They are plants and animals.

Plant cells Plant cells are building blocks of life. They also help the plant live.

Parts of a plant The parts of the plant are the roots stem and leaves.

Roots The roots take in nutrients from the soil.they also hold the plant in place The roots are the part of the plant that grows underground The also hold the plant in place.

Stem The stem holds the plant upright. It also takes minerals to the leaves.

Leaves Leaves create the food for the plant. They also the energy that they get to make the food They use carbon dioxide and sunlight to make food.

Life Cycle of a Plant. The life cycle of a plant is when it shows the steps of a plants life.

Flowering plants Flowering plants are very pretty but can have bees around them These plants have flowers to make food.

Conifers Conifers get seeds from cones.

Minerals Minerals help the plant grow because it's in the soil.

Pine cones Pine cones help conifers get seeds. They also create pollen for insects.

Fruit Did you know that fruit grows on trees. Trees are very important to organisms.

Water Trees need water to survive They get it from the soil. Every organisms need water to survive.

Air Air helps all organisms to survive.

Sunlight With no sunlight the plants wouldn't survive.
