2. ROOTS Grow down into the soil. Hold plants tightly in the ground.
Take water and minerals from the soil.

Carry the water and minerals from the roots to the rest of the plant.
Also carry sugars.

4. LEAVES Are in charge of making sugar for the plant.
Take Carbon Dioxide (CO2) and release Oxygen.

Light: they use it to produce sugar.
