1:1 iPads – Online Safety Tips Digital Safety learning in school Explore online together safely Talk to your child about their online activity early and often – think of the internet as a place, not a thing Know who your child is talking to Make sure the content is age appropriate, incl. games Check your child knows about privacy settings Use parental controls for your ISP
ONLINE SAFETY When online, children and young people can learn new things, get help with homework, express themselves creatively and connect with friends and family. There are also risks, but by understanding and talking about the dangers you can help keep your child safe online. NSPCC CEC operates a flat filtering policy – please check your restrictions and monitor what your children do with these devices at home. Neil is co-ICT coordinator, not ‘Head of IT’ in school – which means he knows very little. GDPR is a major headache right now for all staff.
