Presentation transcript:

Sample Metaphor for Vacuoles If the vacuole were a color it would be brown because most boxes are brown and are used to store things just like the vacuole stores materials for the cell.

Vacuole If a vacuole was a sport, it would be football because you hold the ball. If the vacuole was a real thing , it would be a back-pack. A back-pack holds thing in it. The vacuole is like the storage shed of the cell. It holds food and wastes for the cell. This is a vital organelle.

Organelle Project You are to pick one organelle- you can’t use the vacuole- and make a mini poster of a metaphor for that organelle. Poster should be no bigger than a sheet of copy paper, the title is the name of your organelle. Your entire metaphor must be written out. Include a color picture that represents your metaphor You may do this on powerpoint and email it to me at sgray@mcpss.com
