Mindfulness Awareness Stabilization Training (MAST) Tools for emotion regulation * Resources for self-care Facilitated by Rachael Frankford, MSW, RSW Date: Monday evenings (Nov. 12 – Dec. 3) Time: 5:30 – 7:30pm MAST is a 4-week group that teaches emotion regulation skills through psycho-education and mindfulness practice. Mindfulness is a practice and a skill that is useful for many aspects of our lives and teaches us to be engaged with the present moment in all that comes our way. Participants will be introduced to different mindfulness practices that help surf the waves of overwhelming emotions. The group will learn how mindfulness can help regulate emotions and positively influence neural connections in the brain.
