Careers Over the course of your lifetime, you may have several occupations, or how you make your living which are all part of your career. It’s important to choose wisely when selecting a career.

Interests Your interests are things that you like to do or enjoy. These can range from a variety of topics. When choosing a career it is important to know what your interests are and choose a career that fits those interests. Choose a career that fits your interests will make the job more suitable for you.

Skills Your skills are things that you are good at. When choosing a career it is important to know what your skills are because different jobs require different skills. It is important to choose a job in which you have some skill because that will help you be more successful at that job.

Values Your values are things that important to use. When choosing a career if you don’t value the work that you are doing, you won’t be successful as you could be at that job. It is important to choose a job in which some of your values are in place because it will make that job more meaningful to you.
