Develop a plan-figure out how to begin in a career that interests you Educate yourself-choose educational path that best fits your goals Get Experience-take any job in that field Consider an internship-great experience

Choose a career that interests you Research that career using reliable sources Example: Occupational Outlook Handbook Create a PowerPoint/Google Slides that summarizes your career (Degree(s) Required, Salary Range, Experience Needed, Skills, Why You Like That Career Area, etc.)

13 Group Discussion Activity
What kind of personality and values do you think a person needs to become a successful lawyer? A high school principal? Why do you think that some people believe networking is the best way to find a job?
