It was everything I could have wanted from a creative business startup project and more. The mentorship has helped me to start my journey from an idea to a reality! Thank you. The be inspired project Upon completing a Masters in Digital Marketing, I wanted to start a business. I searched for a programme in Staffordshire that would hold my hand through setting up a business – something I’ve never done before – The project fitted perfectly! I’ve been able to develop my business idea and create a business plan that I’m really excited about. It’s still early days for IMM but I already have my first workshop booked where I will be presenting my research on ‘How to fund your music projects’ to a room of independent musicians. Working with Adele to develop my business idea has given me the confidence to get stuck in. I have attended, and created, many opportunities for networking which will be a key skill moving forward. Graduates who are interested in starting their own business should definitely consider the programme even if your idea is not fully formed yet – There’s room to develop your business idea with the Be Inspired team. Next year will see a whole calendar of similar events + the launch of multiple services aimed at supporting independent musicians in Staffordshire.
