Welcome to 2nd grade! I am so thrilled to have your child in my class and know we are going to have a wonderful year together! I am very excited about the upcoming school year, as I hope you and your child are too! Teaching is a commitment I take very seriously. I recognize that each of my students has his or her own way of learning and as the teacher, it is important for me to determine these styles and help all of my students achieve to the best of their ability. Second grade is also a year that you will see many changes in your child. He/She will grow academically, socially, and emotionally. Your child will change from a dependent learner into an independent and responsible student. I am excited to be a part of this wonderful, academic adventure.
