Program: Last time I said you something and you had to follow, today I will tell computer and it will follow me. Computer! Switch off! Computer! Play a song! So, today we will learn to write programs! Thinking Questions: Do you think that computer understands instructions that we give it in our language? Let’s share the response. Purpose: Introduction Connections Benefits of the process The instructions that a computer can understand to complete a given task is called Program. Program is also called a Code or a Script.

Scratch: What is Scratch? Scratch is a computer programming language. It will have sprites and scripts/programs. Purpose: Introduction Connections Benefits of the process What is Scratch used for? Scratch is used to make games, animations and applications. Why should we learn to write programs? It helps to think, to be creative and builds other relevant skills. It is one of the important skill in the current digital world.

Purpose: Introduction Connections Benefits of the process Press N: Click Green Flag When they are done writing program once, they can press N on keyboard to make the fish go to a new place on the stage and click Green Flag to make the Penguin reach the start position and again start writing program.
