Scratch is a control program that enables you to create your own interactive stories, animations, games, music, and art The name Scratch comes from the scratching technique used by hip-hop disc jockeys. You can do something similar with Scratch, mixing different types of media clips (graphics, photos, music, sounds) in creative ways.

3. 3 Ready made projects Load Scratch: Start – Programs – Scratch Click on open and browse through the ready made projects such as Games. This will give you an idea of what you can make in Scratch Click on the green flag to run the projects You have 10 mins to complete this task

4. 4 Create this simple project Click on Open Sprite Select bat2 and click ok Try this code To save your file: Click on save, choose Computer then “P:” and find your own ICT work folder. Name the file “Bat”

5. Add a background and a second sprite Select the stage Select the backgrounds tab Click on import and from the outdoors folder choose “city with water” Now run the program again Make the bat smaller then add a bat1 sprite Animate the second bat Save your Scratch project again
