Writing Writing- Most of their work is in the journal. We will publish one writing piece a six weeks so do not expect lots of graded pieces to go home each week. Journal- Our journals are “our playground for our pencils” in which we use to explore creative concepts. Cursive- Began 2nd week of school and will finish by December

Word Work Weekly Skill During class we will play with a specific skill through our writing. homework will be sent in order to practice more with that skill. Assessment We do not test that skill through traditional spelling tests that encourage memorization instead through authentic writing.
