Third Grade Newsletter February 4-8, 2019 A Peek at the Week! Reading: Week 1 of Unit 6 Making Decisions. Math: There will be an end of Module 4 assessment on Friday. Writing: Look for a letter going home on Monday with details on an animal report that will soon be assigned. PE: Tuesday and Friday Art for Rooms 7 & 11 on Wednesday Science: Animal Habitats. Biography Projects are due on February 12th Camarillo Ranch House field trip for Room 10 on Wednesday. Homework Remember to read each night for at least 20 minutes Monday: Math Lesson 13 homework, MMU. Tuesday: Math Lesson 14 homework, unfinished work Wednesday: Math review, MMU Thursday: Math review, reading passage For the month of February, third graders will participate in a Kindness Challenge. Students will create a Kindness Chain to demonstrate how they show kindness in the classroom and out on the playground. Room 7 & 11 Valentine’s Day parties will be on February 14th from 10:45-12:00. Room 10 Valentine’s Day party will be February 14th 12:45-1:45 pm. When filling out the class Valentines, please do not write students names on the envelopes.
