Credit Requirements 1

Subject English Health Social Studies Lifetime Fitness Mathematics* # of Credits English 4 Health ½ Social Studies 3 Lifetime Fitness Mathematics* Technology Ed. 1 Science Program Choice 2 - 4 Fine Arts Electives 1 - 3 *Students must participate in 4 years of high school math even if you have already earned 3 credits. Total: 21 credits *Math participation required in each of 4 years of high school.

Weighted and Unweighted Grade Point Average (GPA) Both weighted and unweighted GPA’s are reported on the transcript. Weighted GPA is used for extracurricular activities, honor roll, and National Honor Society.

Attendance 7

Attendance Attendance is critical for success! Any student with unexcused absences of more than 5% of the course may be considered for denial of credit.

Maintaining Academic Eligibility Used for all voluntary extracurricular activities Must maintain a 2.0 grade point average with no more than one failing grade for the marking period prior to the start of the activity All incoming 9th graders are academically eligible for fall extracurricular activities
