Predicting What is it? Making a forecast (educated guess) of what will happen in the future based on past experiences or evidences.

Predicting is part of your everyday thinking.

Predictions are not always correct.

How many drops of water will fit? Make a prediction. Test it by slowly and carefully dropping and counting drops until the water spills over. Observe what you see from the side as well as from the top. Dry the penny and repeat steps 1& 2 twice more. Take an average of the 3 trials.

Was everyone’s prediction correct? How did your prediction compare to your actual results?
