Reading Student access from home Weekly skills sheet sent home each Monday of a new reading week Grading: 67% classwork 33% tests* *Spelling tests not included in numerical grade.

Math New “Bridges” Math Series Math Booklet to use at home Grading: 67% classwork 33% tests

Behavior Management Color-coded card system Green (Great) Cool Cat Ticket Yellow (Good) No Ticket Blue (Watch Out) Loses 5 min of Recess Red (Poor Choices) Loses 10 min of Recess Check & Sign Daily Behavior Report located on the RETURN side of the daily folder. This is also a great way to send me notes. I check folders each morning.

Homework There will not be any homework this year. Instead of a required nightly homework, I ask that you: Read, read, read!! (AR books, books on/above/below their independent level, read for enjoyment!) Review work in daily folders, access online reading curriculum, and use the Home Connections math book as you see fit to meet the needs of your child.
