Lesson 5: No One Leads Alone No One Eats Alone

Objectives Students will reflect on what social isolation looks like at their school and come up with innovative ways to combat it. Students will be able to plan days of inclusion at their school by creating a No One _________________Alone project.

Create your own, “No One __________ Alone Be a leader and continue the inclusion activities at your school! Use your brainstorming from Lesson 2 or do a quick brainstorm now of what social isolation looks like at your school. Create your own “days” to promote inclusivity for the future using the planning template to the right.

Join us online. Put your creative idea into action Join us online! Put your creative idea into action! Be the one to combat social isolation Join Beyond Differences online movement #NoOneEatsAlone Take photos or videos of your event. Students and teachers can upload their photos and videos to the Beyond Differences’ Facebook Page, or tag Beyond Differences on Instagram, or Twitter with a caption that includes #NoOne______Alone (fill in the blank with your unique ideas!). National No One Eats Alone Competition! As part of a national competition, our 63 Beyond Differences high school Teen Board Members will vote on the most creative idea to combat social isolation! If your school wins you will be rewarded with Beyond Differences swag!
