Industry Perspectives: What Recruiters Look For Resume Examples: Consulting Consumer Products & Retail Private Equity Technology (2 versions) Real Estate (2 versions) Healthcare Startups (2 versions) CPG: Example of skills-based format Notice this person opted to list all roles with same company together  allows more flexibility for sub-bullets This format can be especially effective for career switchers (note: not reco’d for all industries – not finance) – quickly highlights relevant transferable skills that may not be as readily evident otherwise Makes it easy for the reader to quickly scan and then go deeper if they are intrigued For headings, this students smartly uses key buzz words and phrases that the reviewer is seeking for that position Also note consistency / focus in education section (marketing major, marketing club, don’t see finance or consulting also listed) Many CPGs also have a tracker for student attendance and engagement MBA CAREER MANAGEMENT

Questions? With that we would like to open it up for general questions that will be relevant to the group and please take a minute to fill our the feedback surveys. We’ll leave 15min at the end for advisor breakout groups for industry-specific questions.
