Science Plan a menu/stock list for what you would need to eat to stay healthy during a long voyage at sea. Provide information why it is good for you. Create a healthy meal on a plate. Basic Skills English Maths Practise reading your book to an adult everyday. Find the different digraphs and trigraphs from your sound map in your reading book. Learn and practise writing your tricky words and sounds from your phonic lessons. Practise your cursive handwriting skills and use these in all writing. Answer the questions from your bug club books. Use letter join website to help with your handwriting. Read and Write numbers 0-50. Learn and practice number bonds to 10 and 20. Talk and describe the whole and part whole model of numbers . Learn the 2, 5 and 10 times tables. English Write a poem about life on a pirate ship. Imagine you are a ship wrecked pirate, write a message in a bottle to tell someone what happened and where you are. Maths Make a pirate board game (possibly like snakes and ladders) Design a treasure map of your house/garden and write directions using number of steps, left and right turn etc, to the hidden treasure. Expectations Basic skills are to be practised each week. You can do all the other activities if you wish. However, at least 3 other tasks MUST be completed. To be returned by- 26th March.
