Attendance It is important that your child comes to school each and every day well rested and ready to learn. Regular attendance at school is critical for your child to achieve his/her highest academic potential. Attendance/tardies will affect your child’s eligibility to attend Bison Bonanza. Copy slide if you want to add more sections to this PowerPoint.

If Your child is absent: • Call the office at 456-1339 or 456-1330 to inform them that your child will not be in attendance for that day or the absence will be considered unexcused. • If your child had a doctor appointment, send the “doctor excuse” to school with your child. Type in your classroom rules.

Tardies • School begins at 7:30am. If your child arrives after 7:45am your child will be counted tardy. 3 tardies equals one absence. • For your reference, the Conduct Calendar will be notated if a student was absent, tardy or left early. • Academic learning occurs all day and students who arrive late or leave early miss valuable instructional time aimed at their academic success. * Tardies will affect your child’s eligibility to attend Bison Bonanza.
