Staff Directory Connect The staff directory is where you will find all teacher websites. They include, homework, class, work, attachments. Bookmark your student’s teachers pages to make it that much easier! * This should not, however, replace using the planner. Students need to figure out the best way to use their planner and many will get credit in at least one class for doing so.

Family Access Grades Test Scores Use it after the fact to ensure work was turned in/graded

Lunch Money MMS website Quick links – lunch information District site – my lunch money.com on right side of screen Able to put lunch money in student account, track purchases, etc… (fee required) Also can bring checks to MMS cafeteria to avoid fee

They are given from 7:30-7:40 to go to their lockers so there is plenty of time. ** You can combine classes into a few binders if that is what works for your student and their schedule.

Lockers No bags are to be brought to class, therefore choose a backpack without an internal frame Practice opening a combination lock this summer, both for PE and hall lockers – Video can be found HERE. Everything, at some point in the day, goes in their hall locker, therefore it needs to fit! Combinations must be kept confidential and students do sign a locker agreement.

Outside of a Locker * The top lock is 61” from the ground. There is a question on your registration form about lockers because we want to ensure that all students can reach their locker!

Some Ideas! Each student will have their own organization that works best for them It may take a few trial and errors to figure out which organization system works best for your student Supply lists will be out in the summer. Students do not need to bring everything on the first day – in fact, paper, pencil, and a folder may be sufficient that first day

Some supply ideas These pockets are great because they are clear and fit everything you need for one class – book, journal, pencil, etc. Found at Staples.

Some Supply Ideas If you choose binders, the large, fabric ones DO NOT fit in the lockers. Smaller, flexible ones work best.

Some Supply Ideas And sometimes, good old fashioned Pee Chee’s or paper folders are best for either all classes, or as a place to keep all homework.

First day of school 6th graders to main gym for schedule 7th and 8th graders to cafeteria for schedule – go to class when bell rings Arrival / dismissal times Questions
