National VAW Network Joanna McLaughlin

The Improvement Service VAW Programme Within the VAW programme, the IS coordinates the National VAW Network which aims to build the capacity and capability of multi-agency VAW Partnerships across the country and ensure they have the knowledge, skills and resources to implement the ambitions set out in Equally Safe at a local level. The VAW Team works collaboratively with the Money Advice team to help improve responses to cross cutting themes, such as financial/ economic abuse. Our teams identified cross cutting themes i.e. financial / economic abuse We can share this knowledge and work together to enhance our outcomes Opportunity to host events / create joint projects: Training / webinars Elected members briefings Strengthening partnership working
