Our Job in Ancient Egypt Our job is being slaves. We live in our owners house. We men wear skirts called a kilt and the women wear straight fitting dresses held up by straps. We build our owners houses of sun dried mud made of bricks and straw. We are poor people.

Slaves We have to wake up early in the morning and clean whatever the owner wants us to do and work all day. We have to work in the farms or wherever our owner needs us all day. Our Job is terrible because we have no rights and we get no free time.

Farmers Our job is being farmers in Ancient Egypt. We live next to our huge fields. We wear short kilts made of coarse linen with sandals made of reeds. We wear cloaks, shawls, tunics, and fur clothing in winter.

Our Job We use scoops, sickles and plows. We are poor people but if we own the farm then we wealthy. We live in houses made of mud bricks. We have to go to work very early and come home late in the afternoon and then we go to eat and sleep. Our job is important because we grow food for the pharaoh and the people.
