National Workshop: Support to the Erasmus + GRADUA Project objectives to build Albanian universities' capacities by transferring EU best practices on graduates' monitoring and employability to enhance the empowerment of Albanian universities accordingly to the ongoing reform of Albanian higher education system to strengthen universities-enterprises links to increase the collaboration among universities at local level to support an open market for high qualified human capital in Albania to improve the quality of the higher education system in Albania according to international standards. Work Package 1 The preparatory activity (WP1 – data) will systematize relevant information on Albanian HE – 9 educational decoding tables, one per each partner university Labour market structure, to map the educational supply, legislation regarding treatment of personal data (that students are expected to share filling-in the questionnaire on their academic experience). Work Package 2 The 1st development activities (WP2 – tool) consists of the build-up of the supply of/demand for labour web platform for students and firms. The WP1 outputs will be taken into consideration so to tailor the web platform accordingly. The database population will run since the release of the web platform 1st module and will continue throughout project lifetime and beyond since the platform will be migrated to MoES premises and kept open for continuous registration by graduates and firms. Work Package 3 The 2nd development activities (WP3 – competencies) concern the starting trainings addressed by WP3 leader experts to beneficiary staff on how to manage the web platform (2 IT per partner) Aim to properly disseminate its benefits to students in order to maximize the response rate to the graduates’ profile survey (2 students’ secretariats staff per partner), Exploit its related outputs, i.e. running of graduates’ profile survey and design of graduates’ employment condition survey (2 researchers per partner). Work Package 4 The 3rd development activities (WP4 – recommendations) will contribute to better match supply for and demand of labour in Albania Direct involvement of career offices from Albanian partners, students and firms in a seminar where EU partners will share their best practices on traineeship development. Work Package 5 The main exploitation activities (WP5 – tool) concern the capitalization of the information provided by the students close to graduation (by filling-in the questionnaire on their academic experience and skills acquired) through the running of the survey on Albanian graduates’ profile. The administrative information (degree obtained, date of graduation, thesis, final note, etc.) will be certified by the students’ belonging universities and matched with the information provided by the students so to obtain the final dataset to be analyzed in the framework of the survey. The release of the survey report, which will include quality assurance measures to be taken to enhance the academic supply. Tirana, April 2018 Erasmus + GRADUA

Work Package 6 The 4th development activities (WP6 – competencies) will contribute to improve the competences and skills of the students for their effective orientation and guidance on the labour market, as a priority for the country. Direct involvement of career offices from Albanian partners in a workshop where EU partners will share their best practices on career office enhancement and formulate recommendations for improving the current skills of the beneficiary staff (2 career office staff per partner are expected to attend the workshop). Work Package 7-9 The following activities/work packages consist of: dissemination (WP7) (GRADUA website, the draft of the dissemination plan and the promotional materials will stand for outreach communication, dissemination events), sustainability (WP8) (platform tutorials, long-term sustainability analysis and system centralization in Albania under MES control) management/quality control (WP9), through a well-organized project management platform.
