Background to Brunel MSc in Management Successful, longstanding programme – 56th in FT Masters in Management, 2011 list (up from 59 th in 2010); 8 th globally for career progression Target market- UK/EU and international students wanting to enhance their career prospects as managers or progress to a PhD Current market situation – strong brand, enhanced market position, enhanced competiveness, strong student recruitment, sustainability (70+ students enrolled, ) 2

Curriculum, USP and differentiation Pre-experience masters in management, with mix of generalist modules and differentiated pathways Students employability and career development, distinctive curriculum, communication with alumni Clear differentiation – pathways reflecting changing market demands and BBS specialisms + optional placements + factory visits and international study tour

Optional placement scheme Increased student employment experience and skills / networking, without sacrificing academic rigour PCC will seek placements or internships for students, to gain insider access to businesses, and to do live, work-related research projects Useful for dissertations, and consultancy reports for host businesses
