The Four Components of the Gifted Program Acceleration-The pace or speed of learning is altered in order to challenge learners. Complexity-Broadening the learner's understanding of the areas by asking the learner to make connections, relationships, and associations between, within and across subjects and disciplines. Depth-Challenging learners by enabling them to venture further, deeper, more elaborately into the area under study. Novelty-Gaining a personal understanding of the area under study. Science Holt Earth Science Topics- Plate tectonics, Earthquakes, Volcanoes, Erosion, Weathering, The Atmosphere, Living things, and Biomes. Technology Material will be covered through power point presentations. Projects Some projects will be done inside their spiral notebook.
