Welcome to Gallery Oldham
You will enter the gallery at the main entrance.
You will meet a member of gallery staff at our pod who will sign you in and show you where to go next.
During your visit, you will look around our galleries.
To get to the galleries, you will use the stairs...
…or take the lift.
You will see artworks…
…and objects.
You will work with your teachers…
…and pupils from your school.
You might also meet one of our workshop leaders…
…and work with them in our galleries…
…and in our Education Suite.
Our Education Suite can be set up in different ways…
…but there will be a space for you if you need to take a break.
You can also use our bee landing as a quiet space while in the galleries.
At Gallery Oldham, you might complete one of our quizzes or your own work from school.
You might do some art…
…drama…
…music…
…object handling…
…writing…
…experiments…
…or you might do some exploring around Oldham town centre with your group.

…and the accessible toilet and the female toilets are on the ground floor.
If the alarm sounds, you will leave the gallery with your teachers using the nearest exit and gather in the gallery gardens.
When your group is ready to leave, you will leave with your teachers through the main entrance.
