Finding Sources

Finding Sources As shown on the previous slide it should be easy enough to search and find Primary Sources using google. Use your timeline and notes to pin point key events that it might be good to have primary sources on. Some things will lend themselves to this more easily e.g. the communication section on Civil rights leaders or the Press/media/literature section in the Germany essay. There are some suggestions on the blog Talk to your teacher Look at examples from previous years

What makes a good source? Discuss this question on your tables Produce a check list that you can use when looking at potential primary sources to make sure you are getting sources that will work well.

On your list? Content directly linking to your question Fits into one of your themes Supports or challenges your argument/ view. You can comment on both provenance and content There are some limitations as well as value
