Key People- Washington Side: Patriot Contribution: Commander-in-Chief of colonial military Attacked at Trenton by surprise Inoculated troops from small pox at Valley Forge Received formal surrender from British at Yorktown Presided over later Constitutional Convention

Key People- Cornwallis Side: British Contribution: Second-in-Command to General Henry Clinton of British forces Made the decision to move his troops to Yorktown, Virginia Forced to surrender after attacked from all angles
