What is Edu2.0? Edu2.0 is a complete Web-based learning management system for public and private teaching. It includes: more than 10,000 shared online resources a range of networking and collaboration features-- wikis, blogs, feeds, chat, etc. assessments, attendance logs, grading, assignments, etc. http://www.edu20.org/

Why did I decide to use edu2.0?

How have I used it? Students: Forums (discussions) Collaboration (chat) Collaboration (wiki) Department: Calendar Resources

Students: Forums (discussions) Sophomore English Class Class novels Literature groups Advanced Creative Writing Class Literature Groups

What was gained through the online discussion? Student: Excitement within the responses Quality of writing Online learning knowledge Continued work on writing and reading Teacher: Immediate feedback Cover more material Enforce the principles of quality writing

Students: Collaboration (wiki) Choice of outside reading and other stories What was gained by using the wiki? Instructional time Efficiency

Students: Collaboration (chat) Online, synchronous mid-term exam review Two days (one hour) Students asked and answered questions Students were able to view transcripts of the review session
