Activity 2: Types of Hazards White space Question: What kind of safety labels have you seen on the back of large trucks or semi-trucks? List three labels. Challenge: What types of hazards do certain substances pose? Hypothesis: Background: Read page A-6 silently. Write down 3 pieces of important information from this reading. Vocabulary: Corrosive: a liquid that wears down solid materials; eats away at materials flammable: a liquid or solid that catches fire when near flame, heat, or sparks Toxic: a material that contains poisonous substances that can be harmful to your health or even cause death
