The Structure of Feudalism

Homes of Lords and Ladies Many of the wealthy lived in manors and some even had more than one to their family name They were usually large in size and built out of stone as well as surrounded by gardens Most would even have moats and high walls for protection

Homes of Lords and Ladies Manors would serve as a center for the kingdom in times of festivals or emergencies where many people would be on the grounds The wealthiest people in society had castles that acted the same way as manors, but were much larger and more resistant to attacks
