Articles of the Confederation Weaknesses versus the Constitution

Articles of Confederation Set up unicameral government (single chamber) No federal court system Congress choose executive officers Congress had only powers expressed in the Articles Created a very weak national government Federal government was forced to rely completely on states for money and military support
