Heart Failure Management The Art & Science of Heart Failure Management

African Americans Have Better Outcomes for Congestive Heart Failure in Hospitals With More Racially Diverse Patients: a Nationwide Analysis

The Art & Science of Heart Failure Management This CME/CE activity is supported by educational grants from Celgene Corporation and Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corporation.

Goal of Activities The goal of this activity is to provide new information on current management strategies, the most up-to- date evidence-based medicine, and clinical trial results in heart failure management.

Target Audience This CME/CE activity is designed for cardiology specialists, internal medicine and primary care physicians, and other clinicians involved in the screening and treatment of patients with heart failure.

Learning Objective Assess lower mortality rates for African American patients with congestive heart failure in hospitals with higher percentages of African Americans.

CME Information: Physicians Statement of Accreditation Projects In Knowledge® is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians. Credit Designation Projects In Knowledge® designates this activity for a maximum of 0.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™.
